#LLAMmeetup
So last Saturday I headed along to the #LLAMmeetup, organised by the lovely Hannah which was held in the Russel Court Hotel in Dublin. I was very nervous as it was my very first meet up but myself and Lizzy went along regardless.

We arrived quite early but we were greeted so nicely by some other Irish bloggers, and we even got a goodie bag filled with products from Rimmel and Burts Bees. Throughout the day there was a demonstration from Nima Brushes and Benefit and I got to mingle with so many lovely new people! There was even a Photo Booth there which we took advantage of.

A raffle was organised in aid of Action Breast Cancer and we raised a brilliant €242 for such a deserving cause.

It was overall a really fun day and thanks again to Hannah for organising such a brilliant event!

Spring Fashion Wish List

Spring Fashion Wish List

I love Spring and lately the weather has been super sunny which is great. The sun seems to just lift everyones spirits which is so lovely to see. Spring also means some new colourful fashion trends which I can't wait to take advantage of.

It dawned on me while I was looking for something to wear on one of the lovely sunny days last week that my wardrobe is seriously lacking in colour and a fresh Spring feeling in general. So a wardrobe clear out later I feel like I am in need of a few new pieces to give my wardrobe some life.

So here is what I hope to get my hands on over the next few weeks!

Benefit's They're Real! Mascara: Is it Worth the Hype?

Benefit's They're Real! Mascara: Is it Worth the Hype?

Benefit's They're Real! mascara is possibly one of the most hyped up products in the blogging and YouTube beauty communities. I was recently gifted this mascara from the lovely Lizzy and I must say I was very excited to try it out. My expectations were very high for this product from reading all of the raving reviews so I tried it out ASAP.

I have been using this mascara for almost a month now so I feel I can fully voice my opinion. Unfortunately I was slightly disappointed! I think that the product was extremely overhyped. Don't get me wrong, this product was really good. It lengthened my lashes without clumping and all that jazz but it really isn't worth the whopping €26 they are looking for. There are mascaras for half the price available from Boots that are just as good (L'Oreal Telescopic would be my choice). I will most certainly be enjoying the rest of the product and use it up fully but as soon as it runs out I will be going straight to the aisles of Boots!

I have been getting into social media more and more lately so please follow me and I will certainly follow you all back.

March Favourites

March Favourites

Another month has rolled around so you know what that means? Another monthly favourites! I'm actually very proud of myself that I (so far) have kept to the favourites trend.

March was really good for me actually.. I really take being in Ireland for St. Patrick's Day for granted but I went into the city and it was absolute madness! On the 26th I turned 18 (expect a post on what I got soon) but sadly couldn't do anything because studying is slowly taking over my life. I had a huge exam yesterday that accounted for 40% of my overall grade in one subject, I don't want to bore you with the details but it is a massive weight lifted off my shoulders.

Now back to my March favourites..

My beauty favourite this month has been my old reliable 'Wake me Up' Foundation by Rimmel. I started wearing this again this month because I wanted something higher coverage. Sometimes when I initially put this on it looks like a very odd colour on my face but after I set it I love it. I may even go as far to say that it is my favourite foundation! I'm sure you have heard of this foundation before but it leaves a dewey finish leaving your face glowing and looking wide awake (something that I desperately need!)

My fashion favourites have been these gorgeous slip on shoes from Topshop. I first saw these on the gorgeous Lily Melrose and I fell in love with them! I have been wearing these with black jeans, they are a nice alternative to my usual black boots for casual wear.

Lastly my random favourite has to be my Cat Disposable Camera. I bought this back in November but I have finished filling it up this month. I brought this to a few parties and although people thought I was crazy it was a bit of a laugh. As I have been taking a few photos on it over the last few months I can't remember the photos I took so I am dying to get it developed! It is basically an extremely overpriced disposable that has 6 cat filters but don't worry if cats aren't your thing, they have many other versions that I really want to try. I'll update you when I get the photographs developed.

I hope you had a wonderful March!

What were your March favourites?
